An elaborate brass and gilt-metal standard rises behind the figures to five scrolling foliate candle arms arranged around a central torch-form frosted iridescent glass shade. The figures stand on a molded rectangular plinth with green and ochre decoration. The sculptural element closely follows documented signed examples of Madrassi’s model. Dimensions: 52 in. H x 14 in.
