The molded case is decorated with scrolls, shellwork, blue foliate ornament, pink shading, and gilt highlights, surmounted by a seated female figure holding a flower. A pierced lattice panel beneath the dial is crowned by applied flowers, while the sides bear pastoral figural scenes within gilt borders. The glazed bezel encloses a white dial with black Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial. The dial and rear movement bear New Haven markings. Marks: Dial marked Manufactured by New Haven Clock Company, U.S.A.; rear movement bears New Haven marking and scratched service inscriptions. Dimensions: 15 in. H, 9 in. W, 5 in.
