Pair Capodimonte-Style Porcelain Urn Lamps - Date: Mid to late 20th century Origin: Italian Materials: Hand-painted porcelain, gilt decoration, metal, and fabric shades Form: Pair of urn-form table lamps Description: A large matched pair of Italian Capodimonte-style porcelain table lamps, each of amphora form with a pink trumpet neck and scrolling handles enriched with gilt floral mounts. The cream and pale green bodies are hand painted with tulips and mixed garden flowers, set above square pedestal bases with additional floral panels and gilt-tone plinths. Fitted with pleated cream fabric shades edged in scalloped panels and fringe. The electrical fittings differ slightly between lamps. Dimensions: Each 38.5 in. H. Shades 21 in. diameter.
