American Art Nouveau Etched Glass Table Lamp - Origin: Probably American Date: Circa 1915-1930 Period/Style: Art Nouveau and Art Deco transitional Maker: Unmarked Materials: Celadon-tinted etched glass, patinated cast metal, and brass electrical fittings Form: Three-light table lamp Description: An American table lamp with a broad six-lobed celadon-tinted glass shade etched in white with classical urns, acanthus scrolls, and repeating foliate bands. The shade rests above a three-socket cluster on a dark patinated cast-metal standard with vertical ribs that flow into a spreading lobed base. A dark metal cap and finial complete the shade. Condition: Scattered pinprick spots, light scratches, surface dust, and possible tiny edge fleabites to the glass. No obvious cracks or major chips observed. The cast-metal base has scratches, oxidation, and rubbing to the dark patina. The brass riser and socket cluster show tarnish and corrosion. The lamp illuminates, but the sockets, pull chains, cord, and wiring have not been formally tested and should be inspected before use.
