American Art Nouveau Slag Glass Lamp - Origin: Probably American Date: Circa 1910-1925 Period/Style: Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts Maker: Unmarked Materials: Cream and amber slag glass, patinated cast metal, and brass electrical fittings Form: Two-light table lamp Description: An American table lamp with a domed eight-panel shade of cream and amber slag glass held within a patinated cast-metal framework. The shade border is decorated with repeated openwork foliate scrolls and stylized blossoms. A tapered reeded standard rises from a circular base cast in high relief with flowers and foliage. Fitted with two pull-chain sockets and wooden ball pulls. Marks: No maker's mark observed. Dimensions: 23 in. H. Shade 19 in. diameter.
