The interior-painted decoration presents blue, yellow, and orange butterflies among pink, yellow, and coral flowers with green and blue foliage against a softly mottled pink and white ground. The shade rests on a silvered cast-metal base with a leaf-molded standard, lobed foot, single socket, and side switch. Marks: Shade marked The Pairpoint Corp. near the fitter opening. Minor surface wear and scattered light abrasions are present to the glass and painted decoration. The base shows tarnish, oxidation, scratches, rubbing, and losses to the silvered finish, particularly on the underside. The cord and wiring appear later. The lamp powered on at the time of cataloging. Electrical components were not examined for safety.
