The upper field is divided by slender vertical lines terminating in clustered dot motifs. A wide lower border carries stylized foliate scrolls and floral ornament in a late Arts and Crafts to Art Deco vocabulary. The shade is supported by an urn-form cast-metal base with a textured gold-brown finish, black linear accents, a square plinth, two pull-chain sockets, and a pierced top cap. Marks: Shade signed Handel 6768 at the inner lower rim. Base stamped HANDEL near the underside edge. Dimensions: 23 in.
