American Pine Plank Bench, 19th Century - A 19th century American pine plank bench, probably Northeastern United States, constructed with a thick two-board top secured by large exposed wooden pegs, above splayed round legs joined through a simple plank seat. The surface shows heavy wear and patina consistent with long use, with visible tool marks and shrinkage to the top boards. 19 in. H, 48 in. W, 13 in. D Condition: Heavy surface wear, shrinkage cracks to top, oxidation, and losses consistent with age and use. Structurally stable.
