EUGEN SCHLENTHER IS: When mobilized for World War II in the summer of 1939, he then returned to the Wehrmacht. He was now named Major General z.V. appointed commander of replacement troops XI in Hanover. At the beginning of November 1939, he was appointed commander of the 171st division in Hanover by renaming his staff.
