Rabbi Zvi Lerman
Born in Bilsk (Russia), June 8, 1867.
His father, Rabbi Ya'akov Meir Lerinman, who immigrated to Israel in early 1905 and was one of the oldest settlers in the Talmud Torah "Shaari Torah" in Neve Shalom.
Rabbi Zvi was the grandson of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Perush, Av Beit Din of Otian.
He received traditional education in the room and at the Volozhin meeting and was ordained a rabbinate.
In 1893, he married Hannah Gitel daughter of Azriel Zelig Volobelsky of Pinsk.
He worked in commerce until 1925 and since then has been an accountant when he worked in private enterprises.
He emigrated to Israel in 1930 and lives in Jerusalem.
He has been engaged in the profession and for the last 25 years of his life engaged in collecting wisdom sayings in ancient Hebrew literature on its articles.
He was able to see in print, but part one of his monumental work "Treasure of Emery Avot" (encyclopedia for students and midrashim and first books). Collection of articles, proverbs, supplementary, practical, halakhic and legendary.
It was published by his son-in-law, Moshe Silberstein, in Buenos Aires in 1952, called "Asfi Zvi."
Was known as a talented writer and researcher.
