A complete, charming set of pocket-sized Chumashim printed at Vienna in 1820, with Rashi, Targum, Megillos and Haftorahs. Unique to this edition, the Targum is printed opposite each page of the Chumash, thereby saving the reader from having to constantly turn pages.
Complete in five volumes. This lot also includes two additional volumes, Nevi’im Rishonim and Acharonim, printed in Zolkiew (?) 1817.
In overall very good condition. Some loose leaves in some volumes. Bound in original (?) bindings.
Very rare. To the best of our knowledge this edition has never been sold at auction.
