Zionist Shekel Day
Different communities used to hold events and gatherings for donation under the title "Zionist Shekel Day".
For exapmle, the Zionist movement in Bulgaria declared in May 1901 that Lag Ba'omer is to be a Zionist holiday as well, the "Zionist Shekel Day". In the Vidin community this holiday was celebrated every year. It was customary for members of youth movements to wear holiday wear, put on a blue-white ribbon, hold a marching parade that began at the Jewish school and ended at the synagogue, where a holiday prayer was held. During the 1930s the Zionist Shekel Day became a sort of happening for all community members accompanying the marchng parade with sports contests, poetry and public speaking.
The inscription on the flag is double sided
"Zion will be Justly Won".

In the center of the flag a Star of David with the inscription "Zion" in its center.
The tips have a 6 Stars Star of David (after Herzl's flag idea, symbolizing 6 days of work).
The flag was orignally in light blue and white cloros, which in time faded.
Fringes of silver threads around the flag.
Flag measurements: 155/120 cm. Time damages - flawed on its top left part and yet - VERY RARE!!
