PRE-WAR GERMAN JEWISH PINS
Lot of five especially rare stickpins from pre-war German clubs, all of which of course disappeared with the advent of the pogrom against the Jews in Europe. Included is: an enamel black and white "M" pin from the boxing club "Makkabi" in Berlin; a round blue and white pin from the Sportklub Bar Kochba E.V. Leipzig, dissolved by the Nazis in 1939; a shield-shaped pin reading: "VI Schauturben [Gymnastics] Leipzig 1924"; an enamel pin with Star of David and initials "SGV", and the fifth pin also enameled bearing a Star of David and a menorah with unidentified Hebrew text. All fine condition.
