GERMAN-JEWISH HIKING CLUB "KAMERADEN" STICKPIN
Rare stickpin from the "Deutsch-Juedischer Wanderbund "Kameraden", a hiking club for German Jewish youths founded in 1916 which was originally politically neutral. Towards the end of the Twenties, the group disbanded and the young members joined groups with ideological orientations ranging from purely religious alliances, Zionist or German-Jewish, and socialist to Communist organizations. Some joined the radical "Schwarze Haufen" as well. Stickpin with .4 in. emblem of the group, a bird in flight, 2 in. straight pin. Very good.
