"NON-ARYAN WARRIORS ASSOCIATION" MEMBER'S STICKPIN
Incredibly rare stickpin issued to a member of the "Nichtarischer Kriegersbund", the "Non-Aryan Warriors Association". This organization, recognized by the U.S. Holocaust Museum, is little known. We do know for certain that the construction of the badge is from the 1920's, probably from the Weimar Republic. The colors black and white further indicate Prussian origin. The badge itself measures .875 inches wide, and the overall length is 2.375 inches. The addition of the gold laurel leaves around the enamel badge indicates that this pin was worn by a high-level or very distinguished member of the group. Fine condition. Most post-war veteran and "warrior" groups were very nationalistic and anti-Semitic. Jewish veterans were shunned, and as a result formed their own veteran organizations. The German Historical Museum in Berlin has a period flag with the same emblem in its holdings (copy of catalog listing included). A probably unique piece.
