Anti-Semitic “Kladderadatsch” Poster - WWII

Poster of one of the more famous covers of the magazine “Kladderadatsch”. The magazine caricatured Stalin, Bolsheviks, Jews and other opponents of National Socialism. Possibly used for advertising for this particular issue or future issues, this poster has the date 9 April 1933. The illustration is of Adolf Hitler putting a spear through a monster that is supposed to represent the Jewish race. At the bottom there is a large crowd of spectators which represents the German people. This is displayed inside of a wood frame that measures 14.75” x 18”. The poster itself is 8.75” x 12.25”. This is not a torn cover off of an issue of one of these magazines. The left edge is perfect and was never cut away from anything. Also, there is a number stamped at the top left “21”. Most likely an indication that there were a certain number of these printed and most likely not very many. The right edge and corners have slight damage. This came out of the collection of a very large and valuable collection owned by a Jewish gentleman in New York City.
