LIKUTEI TORAH – RABBI MORDECHAI OF CHERNOBIL, SECOND EDITION (SAME PUBLICATION YEAR AS FIRST EDITION) CHERNOWITZ 1859.

Chassidic teachings and directions by Rabbi Mordechai Twersky, Rebbe of Chernobil. This edition was published within months of the first and is identical in its layout, other than the correction of the printing errors that appeared in the first edition. Published with approbations of Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadagura, Rabbi Chaim Halberstam of Sanz and Rabbi Yeshaya Shor of Iasi.

Rabbi Mordechai Twersky of Chernobil (1770-1837), son of Rabbi Nachum – author of Me’or Eynayim, and son-in-law of (I) Rabbi Ahron Hagadol of Karlin and (II) Rabbi David Leikes – a disciple of the Baal Shem Tov. Given the title ‘Maggid’ by a large number of Ukranian communities and served as Rebbe to large numbers of chassidim. His eight sons all continued the Chernobil chassidic dynasty.
