A rare early uniformed rank Knights of Pythias URKP fraternal sword by the Pettibone Bros MFG Co. With gilt-brass lion head pommel, guard and fittings, slightly curved blade with etched images of jousting knights, owner's name, and Knights of Templar symbols. Chrome-plated metal scabbard.

The Knights of Pythias is a fraternal organization and secret society founded in Washington, D.C., on 19 February 1864.
