AN EXCELLENT FRENCH GILT-SILVER MOUNTED COURT SWORD, 1760
This is a complete example of a French court sword with very finely chiseled mounts with puttis, A characteristic triangular blade is engraved with fleur-de-lis, gilded. The top scabbard gilt-silver mount (throat) is signed.
