The book is dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the Romanovs' House. This publication aims to publish all weapons that belong to the members of the Romanov family without exception both of the Russian and foreign origin. The published items were personal weapons which were used for the intended purpose as a combat weapon or a part of a certain military uniform. In Russia similar publications devoted to personal weapons of the Romanov family kept in The State Museum collections have not yet been printed.
