AN CAUCASIAN AZERBAIJAN ISLAMIC KAMA DAGGER
A fine kindjal or dagger made in Baku, Azerbaijan, dated 1898. The hilt and scabbard are made of silver decorated with engraving and niello. There are silvers hallmarks of Baku City on the back, applied niello date, the initials of the owner, double-headed Imperial Russian eagle, and princely crown. The dagger features a beautiful blade.
