Princess Diana Signed & Drawings annual Book It is quite ironic that Diana collected the Princess series books when she was young. The book is from 1965, but Diana received it and dated it 1969. It comes with little drawings inside the book and a section on Ballet. Diana has written inside this book. Drawings and notes. Princess Diana Book Collection: This collection that is offered is a personal collection that was owned and read by Diana as a young girl. This rare collection was part of her collection of personal books. From ballet books to girl's annuals. Diana was an avid lover of ballet and dance in her youth and also loved to support ballet events throughout her life. This is how she connected with the teacher at play center. This book collection offered was given by Diana just after her marriage to a play center in Kensington. When it closed down, the teacher, who was also a ballet teacher, gave the collection to her daughter who was zealous about ballet. Diana, the teacher and her daughter often danced together for fun. The collection was later sold due to the need for funds.
