Midrash Lekach Tov on Sefer Vayikra, by R. Tuvia Ben R. Eliezer.
R. Tuvia Ben R. Eliezer was a Talmudist and poet of the 11th century. He authored the P’sikta Zutrasa Midrash Lekach Tov on the Chumash and Megilos.
Although the author referred to his sefer as Lekach Tov, (an allusion to his name Tuvia), since the mid-16th century, however, it has been most often referred to as P’sikta Zutrasa in distinction to the P’sikta Rabsa “the Greater P’sikta”. It became known as P’sikta, as the editors of this edition found no title in the manuscript, but noted that every verse was headed פס “pisḳa”, and assumed the name of the sefer to be P’sikta.
