Haggadah shel Pesach, Ma'aleh Beit Chorin. Amsterdam, 1781. With the Map
Passover haggadah per the Ashkenazic custom and the Sephardic custom, Ma'aleh Beit Chorin, with commentaries from rabbinic world leaders. Amsterdam, 1781. Map of the Land of Israel with tribal divisions.
With a short half-title page, copperplate: "Beit Yisrael Beit Chorin. Haggadah shel Pesach K'Minhag Ashkenazim V'K'Minhag Sepharadim ..." Copperplate illustrations in the leaves of the haggadah, according to the Amsterdam haggadah from 1695.
With a map of the Land of Israel on a folded leaf approximately 34x49 cm. The map includes all of the journeys in the desert through the tribal divisions in the Land of Israel. Table of desert journeys at the bottom of the map.
[2] 52 leaves, 25 cm. Folded map.
The haggadah is in fine condition. The upper corners of the leaves are scorched, with damage to individual letters only. The map has tears without lack, professionally restored.
Original leather binding with slight damage to the corners. The upper part is separate.
