Letter of Endorsement from the Admor Rabbi Aaron of Belze Handwritten by His Brother, Rabbi Mordechai of Bilgoraj

Letter of endorsement from Rabbi Aharon of Belz requesting help in securing a job for a man from a prominent and righteous Slovakian family prior to World War II.
The letter is handwritten and signed on behalf of the Admor by Rabbi Mordechai of Bilgoraj, brother and right hand man of Rabbi Aharon of Belz. Rabbi Aharon’s personal seal appears on the letter as well.

Rabbi Mordechai Rokach of Bilgoraj (1902 - 1950) was the son of Rabbi Yissachar Dov of Belz. He stood out for his exceptional talents already from youth and was accepted in 1927 as Rabbi of Bilgoraj. Rabbi Mordechai did not lead as Admor and subjugated himself completely to his older brother, Rabbi Aharon of Belz. During the war years he fled Poland to Hungary and eventually to Eretz Yisrael along with the Admor. Once in Eretz Yisrael, he assisted his brother in reestablishing the Belz Chassidus. Rabbi Mordechai passed away young in 1950 and is buried in Tveria. He is the father of the present day Admor of Belz.
