A reworking by Pagninus of R. David Kimchi’s Sepher HaShorashim (Book of Roots). According to Estienne’s introduction, this Hebrew lexicon was published as an accompaniment to his 1544-6 edition of the Hebrew Bible. “A beautiful example of Robert Estienne’s Hebrew printing.” See F. Schreiber, The Estiennes: An Annotated Catalogue (1982) no. 97.
