A DZADZAMIDZE GEORGIAN DAGGER GILT SILVER MOUNTS
A rare Georgian dagger (quama) by Dzadzamidze. The silver filigree immaculate workmanship is a characteristic style of Dzadzamidze, throat is dated on the reverse: June 21, 1922. The grip is of horn with gilt niello silver decorative rivet. Blade is double-edged with one fuller on both sides.
Dimensions: L: 18 3/4 in., (48 cm.)
Condition: Blade is slightly pitted, scabbard leather shows signs of age, silver fittings retain original gild, good overall
