A RUSSIAN ORTHODOX ICON OF ST. NICHOLS in SILVER OKLAD
A 19th century Russian Orthodox tempera on wood icon depicting St. Nicholas Miracle-maker. The icon is featuring gilt-silver halo and silver filigree oklad. Hallmarks: O.S (two Cyrillic letters), 84 and 84 proof on the halo.
Dimensions: 11 3/8 x 10 1/2 in., (31.5 x 27 cm.)
Very good with several cracks on the surface
