47. AN ANTIQUE ROSH HASHANA GREETING CARD IN ACRYLIC PRESENTATION BOX. Germany, c. 1890. The front is a traditionally dressed Jewish woman with a sash that says "Daughter of Zion" and a flag that says "Happy New Year" in English and Hebrew and the word "ZION" in Hebrew only. There are also 3 Stars of David on the flag. In the background are 2 gold lions and a Star of David. Behind that is a wreath of blue & white flowers and behind that are even more flowers. Marked on the back "PRINTED IN GERMANY". When displayed open this card measures 6 7/8" x 4" x 3 3/8".
