Extremely Rare Marriage Certificate – Handwritten Signature of the Rebbe Rabbi Yoel of Satmar, the Mesader Kiddushin
"Marriage certificate" of the HaEdah HaCharedit Prushim Chassidi, Va'ad Hair of the Ashkenazic community of Jerusalem. With the handwritten signature of the Rebbe Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar – Mesader Kiddushin. The certificate was given to the marriage of the groom "Yechezkel Sheraga friedman" with the bride "Gittil Chrushteitl". The first of Elul 1946.
It is known that the Rebbe signed only six [!] of these certificates duringthe short time he lived in Jerusalem.
The Rebbe Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar (1887-1979) the son of Rabbi Yom Tov Teitelbaum, the "Kedushat Yom Tov" and the brother of the author of "Atzei Chaim". Since his youth he was known as one of the leading rabbis of the generation, in his sharpness, genius, holiness and pureness. Served as a rabbi in Careli and later as the first Rebbe of Satmar. He miraculously survived the Holocaust, immigrated to the Land of Israel and then moved to the USA. The president of the Torah U'Tefilah institutions. Acted to reestablish Judaism after the destruction of Europe. Authored the books "Divrei Yoel", "Amar Yoel", "VaYoel Moshe" and more.
