142 plates with professional photos taken by Kahn during his mission to Eretz Israel in 1912, on behalf of the newspaper and in cooperation with the JNF.
Contained in three cardboard folders, with a photo attached to the outer side of each folder and an embossed writing in gilded letters (in German): from Jaffa to Jerusalem [37 plates], from Jerusalem to Haifa [54 plates], the Galilee [51 plates]. The photos portray settlements and cities, landscapes, and photos of the settlers: children, workers, Yemenites; The Hebrew Gymnasium, Bezalel, and more. Incomplete set (originally 180 plates). Photographs 11x8.5cm, printed on plates 20x16cm. Good condition. Restored folders, with lacing.
