Dr. Zecharya Frankel (1801-1875), Rabbi of the Enlightenment Movement, native of Prague, a leader of the "Chochmat Israel" movement and founder of the conservative movement. From 1836, served as Rabbi of the city of Dresden and as Chief Rabbi of the Saxonia State. One of the founders and heads of the Jewish Theological Seminary in Breslau, and author of "Darchei Hamishna" and other books.
Approximately 23X24 cm. placed in pass-partout 19X21 cm. Tears and stains.
