Manuscript on Parchment - Prayers for Aseret Yemei Teshuva, 19th Century
Manuscript, prayers for Aseret Yemei Teshuva, and chapters of Tehillim with special prayers according to the letters of the name of the writer "Moshe ben Rachel' and his children "Perel Nesel daughter of Esther", and "Shmuel ben Esther". Ashkenazi scribal script, on parchment. [Europe, c. 19th century].
The manuscript contains: Tehillim Chapter 22, 121, 20, verses of 119 according to the letters of the name "Moshe ben Rachel". Prayer requesting G-d's assistance for repentance. Verses of Tehillim 119 according to the letters of the name "Perel Nesel bat Esther", and "Shmuel ben Esther". Prayer requesting the G-d grant him children who should live a long life without sin. Prayer for Erev Yom Kippur [similar to the version of Tefillah Zaka], and another prayer requesting that the prayers should be accepted.
[16] leaves, 17 cm. (Three slightly smaller leaves). Parchment. Good condition, stains and wear. Ancient leather binding, with reconstructed spine.
