Set of 24 individual Scrolls. Each a separate Book of the Tanach. Expertly written in Aschkenazi square Hebrew hand on vellum. Each scroll with fine, detailed illumination pertinent to the content of the Sefer.



Each Scroll set on wooden rollers, 19 of which have upper portions encased in decorative ivory. Every scroll with custom-designed embroidered velvet covers identifying the Biblical name of Scroll along with individualized illustration; many with dedications relating to Burstein family members, 1935-37. The 24 Scrolls contain a total of 519 illuminations: 382 in colors and 137 in gilt.
Two sizes: Fifteen of the Scrolls, measures 16 inches (40 cm) in height of the actual vellum; and 26 inches (67 cm) in height from end-to-end of rollers. Nine of the Scrolls measure 10 inches (25 cm) in height of the actual vellum; and 18 inches (48 cm) in height from end-to-end of rollers.
