Various notes of ownership, including: "This book belongs to the prominent Gaon Rabbi, who is famous on the face of the earth, from Shabtai Rapaport, AvdakDombrova and the Galilee". Rabbi Shabtai HaCohen Rappaport (1820-1897), Av Beit Din of Dombrova. A descendent of the Shach, son of Rabbi Avraham Avli of Tarnov [son-in-law of the Admor "Hadvar Shmuel" of Slonim and one of the greatest Torah scholars of his generation] Wiedenfeld, author of "KochavMiyakov" [father of Rabbi DovBerish, Gaon of Tshivin], and the son-in-law of Rabbi Ze'ev Nahum Bornstein, father of the AvneiNezer.
