RUSSIAN IMPERIAL BADGE TEREK COSSACK ARMY, 1912 + BOX
Gold wreath of laurel branches with plaited bunches of grapes.
On the wreath is laid a gold double - headed eagle beneath three gold Imperial crowns with gold ribbons falling from under the large Imperial crown. On the Coat of Arms is a silver wavy ribbon with the dates 1577 and 1877 in dark - blue enamel.
Below the Coat of Arms are the crossed sabre and mace and at their point of intersection is a gold Caucasian cross. the
SIZE: 42 - 47 mm, weight is 14,36 g. (with nut), 15,65 g. (without nut). Condition is VF - XF.
ESTIMATE PRICE: $7000 - $8000.
It is a great INVESTMENT.
For the past 10 years the same badge was appeared in 2005 on auction Gelos (Russia, Moscow, auction #30). It was sold for $28.000 (14 years ago !!). Second times the same badge was sold in Morton and Eden, 2006, auc.24 lot 1082, VF 12000 GBR ($24000).
