20th century AD
A bulbous ceramic storage jar with basal ring, opening with pouring lip and loop handle below, larger loop handle to the reverse with thumb-pad; painted horizontal rings with hatched and other bands in yellow and pink; lid with serpent-head detail and knop handle, pierced. 2.9 kg, 28cm (11"). Fine condition. [No Reserve]
