Circa 11000 BP and later
Group comprising: a uniface knapped spearhead with tang, formed on a large flake with some cortex remaining so possibly not fully finished; a bifacial ground axe with strongly curved cutting edge and 'hammer' butt, grooved around for hafting; a large flint or chert core flake; a large and crudely knapped cleaver; a ground triangular maul and a flint water-worn pebble enclosing a fossil sponge; probably of North American origin. 3.30 kg total, 12 - 16cm (4 1/2 - 6 1/4"). Fine condition. [6, No Reserve]

Property of a South Australia gentleman; from his father's collection formed in the 1960s-2000s; thence by descent.
