13th-6th century BC
A bronze dagger with lentoid-section tongue-shaped blade, integral tapering hilt with flared finial, inset panel of bone to each face forming the grip. 330 grams, 37.8cm (14 3/4"). Fine condition.
Provenance
Property of a Mayfair lady; formerly in an important London collection formed since 1965.
