Scythian Acinaces Dagger
6th-5th century BC
An iron dagger with broad leaf-shaped blade, rectangular grip with notched edges and scooped lower guard, scaphoid-section pommel; mounted on a custom-made stand. 463 grams, 45cm including stand (17 3/4"). Fine condition.

Property of a North West London gallery; formerly in a 1980s collection.
