A large hollow conical ceramic vessel, intended to be filled with explosive liquid and a wick, and used as a hand grenade; band of indented circles with triangles in between to the shoulder, short neck with domed top. 531 grams, 12.5cm (5"). Fine condition.
Provenance
From an important English collection; acquired in the 1990s.
