Viking Arc-Bladed Axehead
10th-12th century AD
An iron axehead with narrow T-shaped blade, curved edge, lozenge wings to the socket, hammer-head to the rear. 453 grams, 16.5cm (6"). Very fine condition. Professionally cleaned and restored. [No Reserve]

From the family collection of a South East London collector; formerly acquired in the late 1950s.
