A group of lead shot or 'musket balls' used by matchlock-type muskets and pistols, showing signs of impacting a target. 223 grams total, 9-18mm (1/4 - 3/4"). Fine condition. Scarce. [23, No Reserve]
Provenance
Found on a Charles I Civil War battle site, near Harston, Cambridgeshire, UK in the late 1990s.
