A large bronze Type 1 spearhead; the long ovate blade with curved shoulders and flat midrib, rounded point; square-section shank developing to a tapering tang, fastened by bending to a right-angle with knop to the end. 430 grams, 45cm (17 3/4"). Fine condition, edges notched.

Property of a North West London gallery; formerly in a 1980s collection.
