A bronze kartika ritual axe with hooked blade, shank formed as a serpentine head with knotwork collar, three radiating crowned masks and horse-head finial. 1.5 kg, 29cm (11 1/2"). Fine condition.

Property of a North London gentleman; acquired on the UK art market before 2000.
