Gandharan Floral Terracotta Plaque
1st-4th century AD
A terracotta plaque comprising a flower with radiating petals and central bulb, lateral scrolls and panels below, ledge to the reverse; mounted on a custom-made stand. 176 grams, 10cm with stand (4"). Fine condition.
Provenance
Property of a London gentleman; from his father's collection formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s.
