Large Gandharan Ceramic Bowl Mould
2nd-4th century AD
A ceramic mould for decorated bowls with large central hole, radiating bands of billets with leaf-motifs between, billeted border and carinated lip above. 3.4 kg, 31cm (12 1/4"). Fine condition.

From the collection of a North London gentleman; acquired in the 1980s.
