1st millennium BC
A sheet bronze disc, slightly domed, with repoussé image of two rearing lions(?) fighting, pointillé border; pierced for attachment. 55 grams, 12cm (4 3/4"). Fine condition.
Provenance
Property of a Mayfair lady; formerly in an important London collection formed since 1965.
