Roman Winged Statuette with Pipes
2nd-4th century AD
A bronze figure seated on a stone atop a discoid pedestal; small wings to the back, incised hair, crude facial features and prominent phallus; left hand raised towards the mouth holding pipes, right hand lowered holding a square object. 120 grams, 78mm (3"). Very fine condition.

From a private collection; formed 1965-1975.
