A bronze jug handle, lentoid in section with scallop finial, recurved shank, female mask above the rim extension with lateral hanks of curled hair and foliage, chignon forming the thumb-pad. 62.4 grams, 67mm (2 3/4"). Fair condition. [No Reserve]

Property of a UK gentleman; acquired on the London art market in 2004; previously in a 1980s collection.
